Bownessie, the monster of Lake Windermere, finally been photographed. Pictures of mysterious creature from Lake Windermere has been hailed as the best ever sighting of English Loch Ness Monster.
This is considered the eighth time sighting of a long hump-shaped creature that is known by residents as "Bowness, in the last five years.
The photograph, which shows an object with three humps breaching of the lake's surface, is considered the best evidence yet of what some say is a monster lurking in the depths.
It was taken on a camera phone by Pickles Tom, 24, while on the lake as part of a team building exercise with its IT company Capgemini, last Friday.
Mr Pickles said he saw an animal the size of three cars speed past him on the lake and he looked at it for about 20 seconds.
He said: "It was petrifying and we paddled back to shore immediately At first I thought it was a dog, then it was very large and move very quickly to about 10 mph ..
"Each hump was moving in a wavelike motion and swam quickly.
